Governance
NEWFDA takes its mission to provide value to the NorthEast Wholesale Food Distribution community through education, professional development and networking seriously, and works to protect the resources entrusted to it by our members. The Association is governed by the NEWFDA Board of Directors, which is comprised of volunteers from the Wholesale Food Distribution community. Our system of organizational governance ensures the input of appropriate professionals regarding decision-making and oversight.
Board of Directors
The Association’s Board of Directors is composed of six Officers, thirteen Directors, and eighteen Directors Emeritus. Directors are elected to serve three-year terms.
The Board is responsible for the nomination process, and the election of board members and officers.
